In order allow a larger Planning Commission quorum to be available to review and comment on the proposed noise ordinance amendment, the Department of Planning and Land Use will recommend that this item be continued from the October 17th hearing date to October 31st at 9:00 am. <br /><br />This informational e-mail is being sent so to avoid having individuals who wish to speak on this matter from arriving at the Planning Commission hearing only to discover that this item will be continued for two weeks. We understand that your time is valuable so we hope this e-mail will be beneficial in prioritizing your time. This ordinance specifically takes AIM at off-road vehicles. The noise limits are unduly biases against OHV users. It is imperative that off-roaders sound off and let their elected representatives know they oppose this draconian ordinance.
